19 year old entrepreneur & music producer mostly known as “808Spinz” has been creating music for around 5–6 years now. Spinz was born In Charlottesville, Virginia but grew up far out west in Tucson, Arizona. Growing up his father is what got him into music by introducing him to hip-hop artists like Eminem, Snoop Dogg, & Dr. Dre at a young age. Spinz never needed the skill of playing an instrument to make beats, he began his journey in high school with no experience. With the help of his audio teacher Spinz was pushed to learn new things by staying late after school to use the school studio almost every night.
Production is the number one thing Spinz specializes in & takes pride in working with artists directly creating vibes from scratch. The trap sound had a big impact on the type of beats that Spinz makes. You can compare his sound with some Atlanta, Memphis, or DMV trap music. With Influences like Zaytoven, TM88, & Metro Boomin, Spinz is most definitely shadowing a group of legends & picking up some good tactics from the greats.
The sound is just one part of producing while also having the business part to worry about. Spinz is very business minded & smart when it comes to the business side of things. A lot of artists can pick up on his hard work ethnic & maturity while others try to take advantage of him thinking he doesn’t know the basics. Currently working at Ari B Studios in Nashville, TN Spinz is pushing his way through the year making more & more connections. While waiting on placements with Paris Bryant to drop Spinz is using his entrepreneurship to get into new things like Djng. Caught off guard five minutes before the show started, Spinz ended up hosting & Djng his first show ever.
