Rising Artist SlimetimeRich is Breaking Buzz Around the Country With his new album
Upcoming Artist Richard Wright More Known as (SlimeTimeRich) just released his new album that is catching a lot of attention and incredible numbers so far. The Artist out of Columbus, Ohio has been making a name for himself for nearly 3 years now since he started making music in 2018. With only 2 EPs & 1 Album out it is fair to say we have a lot more to hear from him. Slimetime is currently a student at Central State University an HBCU in Wilberforce, Ohio. His new album named “LightningRoses Vol 1” which is out now on all platforms is currently doing incredible numbers, and receiving great feedback.
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO WRITE THIS PROJECT
We asked SlimeRich what are some things that inspired him to write this project & he responded “Lighting Roses is a symbolization of myself, lighting is me being electric, and roses is my emotional open side”. SlimeTime further began to explain that he writes his music to imitate his life, so the emotions he feels will be portrayed through the music rather than being joyful or depressing. With such a unique sound Slimetime explains that he made this album because he fully became in tune with his sound. “LightningRoses” was definitely more than just an album to him; it was rather very personal as he described it as his coming out party.
WHO WAS IT WHO INSPIRED YOU TO TAKE MUSIC SERIOUS 100%
When it comes to music many artists have that one thing or that one person that connects with them on a deeper level to cause them to take things seriously, but for SlimeRich he says it was himself. When we asked him he went on to say “I know I have something special and a blessing from god, when I wake I make music, when I do my homework I think of melodies, and I study how to get better in all aspects”. Slimetime is not one to half ass on his passion & it definitely shows by his hard work ethnic.
DESCRIBE YOUR SOUND
When we asked SlimeTime to describe his sound he left us a lot of detail on how his sound is very unique from others calling it “Sonically pleasing”. One artist he is heavily influenced by is Travis Scott for his ability to make his music an overall experience. Slimetime goes on to explain his whole vibe from the cinematic beats he uses, to the numerous layers of vocals he layers out perfectly to complete a track. Versatility is very important to him when it comes to his music with him seeing how an artist like Kanye West can open up people’s minds with his production, and work. SlimeTime went on to say “ My sound is versatile but I have hints of me in all of my characters whether i’m singing, using autotune, or rapping hard they are all different, but they are all me”.
WHO ARE SOME TALENTS YOU WOULD LIKE TO COLLABORATE WITH IN THE FUTURE
Two key talents Slimetime said he would love to collaborate with in the future is Travis Scott, and the legendary Mike Dean. We asked him why he chose these two talents & his response was simply “I think they would bring out my visions and abilities to a higher level”. Mike Dean has worked with many major Hip Hop acts like Kanye West, 2Pac, and even Drake. With SlimeTime having such a strong drive & ability to push his music in the right direction it will not be a shocker if we see his dream collabs come true one day. Expect some big things from SlimeTime here in the near future as he continues to push his new album “LightningRoses Vol 1” Out On All Platforms.
