Michael Andre Braxton drops his newest single titled “ Let Me See”
Medium: Thank you Mike for taking the time to talk to us.
Michael Andre Braxton: I would like to thank you guys for this interview.
Medium: What’s your background in the music industry?
Michael Andre Braxton: My background comes from working on projects for kurupt from Tha Dogg Pound. I worked on a couple of albums for him when he had his Antra label in Philadelphia. I also work with serveral indie artists as well.
Medium: What made you decide you wanted to become a musical artist?
Michael Andre Braxton: I always had the passion to the point where I wanted to come out with music. So I feel the right time is now to do it.
Medium: The first single you dropped was “ “Purple in My Cup” and you’re back with the next single “Let Me See”. What was the concept of this instrumental single?
Michael Andre Braxton: . I was going for the strip club vibe with that track. What makes this track stand out for me is the horns and how they go along. This is the summertime vibe everyone should jump in their car and vibe out.
Medium: Now tell us about the Ep you recently dropped.
Michael Andre Braxton: Yes, the name of my first Ep is titled” Money Over Love” It’s pretty much the vibe I was going with when I was making the songs. I had so much fun putting this project together.
Medium: Now, besides the music, can you tell us what other projects you are working on?
Michael Andre Braxton: I started “The Blue Check Podcast Show” His show is based on interviews with people from all ways of life who have been deemed fit by Instagram with a blue check. Currently, it’s streaming on apple, Spotify, iheart, and other platforms. Right, now we are into the first season of the show. The feedback from everyone has been very positive. That’s the only thing that matters to me.
Michael Andre Braxton: Now on the tv side of things. I serve as the Executive Producer and Director of this mini-series called “ Unfinished Business “
Medium: Tell us about the mini-series?
Michael Andre Braxton: Sure, Unfinished Business is an American crime drama web series set in Philadelphia. The mini-series shows how unsupportive a police force is and how they take advantage of the situation with people from all races. The only thing they care about is getting the money.
