Hueston Releases New Single Paris
There’s something raw about this one. Formerly one half of The Blancos, the artist known as Hueston doesn’t find easement in this wave of commercialism plaguing the music industry of today. A soul tested and strained in an orchestration of street ragged individualism mixed with a ‘f*ck you’ attitude. Make no mistake time has done nothing short of evolving his sound. Middle school drop out, up and down, Hueston is what the game has been missing. With a voice and energy of a mystic viking, the only thing overshadowing his vocals is his wild fingerings on the six string.
“Paris”
This song flows towards the romantic side and the love for a partner. With no doubts, no questions. Paris represents more than a place, but an escape from the world where nothing else matters.
Tell us a little bit about your background in the entertainment industry. What have some of your biggest accomplishments been on your journey to the top? I started as a frontman of a group called The Blancos, I had some major sync placements throughout the years with them, which includes the Aquaman movie, NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, Just Mercy trailer, and we had a big song featuring Joyner Lucas called “We’re Tired”. I’ve also been a published songwriter/ producer since 2016.
What artists are you listening to right now?
Always Kanye, myself (yes, myself), R.A.L.P.H., Blankface, Kid Cudi, Daniel Caesar. Lots of classic records, Ray Charles, Janis Joplin, The Doors, Phil Collins, Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Howlin’ Wolf, BB King. Kendrick, J. Cole. I could go on and on.
How would you describe your sound?*
Fresh and classic. Some new classic shit. That’s my sound. I think my sound is completely unique and it’s hard to describe it. It’s genre bending. It’s super moody and no matter what Hueston song you listen to, you’re gonna feel something.
Tell us more about your production process, and how much of it do you do yourself?
Majority of my music I do myself. Produce, engineer, perform, I do it all. I do like to collaborate with other people from time to time to get different looks and different vibes. But in the case of this song I mixed, mastered and produced this song myself. Paris is 100% Hueston.
What’s something that you believe connects your fans to this song? This song since I’ve put it out, I haven’t met a person that doesn’t like it. It just has a vibe to it. What person wouldn’t want to bring their significant other to Paris?
