Laura better known as BONFIRES is an on the rise music artist from Long Island, New York. Her passions have always included writing, music and reading. She has written short stories, poetry and has also published some of her work in newspapers and magazines. Writing and music seem go hand in hand. Music has always been a huge part of BONFIRES life. The COVID-19 pandemic has seemed to spark new opportunities for many people…including Laura. During quarantine she started making music. Since she has always been a savvy writer she wanted to see how her words would sound in a song. She discovered her own flow and found that she had a hip hop style to her delivery. Currently she has several singles on streaming platforms. Her song “Promise I’m Honest” has reached over 15,000 streams on Spotify. She has came very far during this pandemic !
